Battle of the BBQ

More BBQ? You bet!

GBA’s  Genuswine Brisket Authority is staying busy. Last Friday, June 15^th, they competed in the Kansas City Metro Chapter of the APWA’s Membership BBQ contest and won 1^st place in the chicken category.   This weekend, June 22-23, they will participate in the Great Lenexa BBQ Battle at Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park where they will compete with approximately 200 other BBQ teams. If you like BBQ this is the place to be.

The City of Lenexa recently renovated Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park with a newly constructed dam and spillway. While you are sampling delicious BBQ you can take a stroll across the pedestrian bridge and have a seat in one of the new viewing areas. You can enjoy great food and great scenery in one location.
